There are several methods to print documents and images from your computer depending on the type of file you would like to print: Pictures, text, web page, articles, and animation. Choose the best method for printing your particular document or image: Selecting and highlighting text, using the print icon, especially the Printer Friendly option. Select the specific pages you want to print as well as the number of copies.
As a general rule-of-thumb before printing your document or image, select Print Preview from the File menu or Right Click menu to verify what you are sending to print is what you want to print.
The library’s public computers default to the black-and-white printer on the same floor as the computers, but you can choose a color printer or black-and-white printer on either floor.
After selecting your printer, clicking the Print button sends your document or image to the Printing Release Kiosk.
At the Kiosk, find your computer number and select the job you want to print and highlight the item. The station will indicate the cost of the print job.
Select and highlight the printer.
Deposit your money – coins or bills – in the cash box.
When your money registers, the Print button will be highlighted.
Click on the Print button and your document will be printed at the computer printer station, where you can retrieve your item.
You can cancel print jobs you decide not to print. Be careful not to cancel jobs sent by other patrons. Documents on the Printer Kiosk queue will cancel automatically after two hours. Remember to remove your USB drive and Log Off your computer when finishing your session.
