Covid-19 and the Library

The library takes the safety of staff and visitors to the library very seriously. All visitors to the library must wear a mask and practice social distancing for the entirety of the their visit. Hand sanitizer and wipes are available for patron use, and all frequently touched surfaces in the library are sanitized daily. Due to the recent issuance of stay at home advisories in our area, the library is reducing open hours.
The library is operating at 25% capacity during Tier 3/Phase 4 mitigation. Hours and services are subject to change based on mitigation guidance provided through the Restore Illinois Plan. Seating has been removed, and patrons are encouraged to make appointments for computer use. Computer use will be limited to one hour per day per patron.
All materials returned to the library are quarantined for 3 days before checking in, so don't worry if you see that your items you just returned are not checked in yet.
Computers are spaced for appropriate social distancing, and all programming is taking place virtually. Meeting rooms are not available for public use at this time.
